Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between No L’s Autos and the client (“you”) for the provision of driving lessons, training courses, and any related services. By enrolling in No L’s Autos, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

To enrol in No L’s Autos, you must:

a. Be at least 17 years old or 16 and in receipt of the higher element of PiP/DLA.  

b. Hold a valid and current UK provisional driving licence.  

c. Agree to comply with all UK traffic laws and regulations.  

Booking and Scheduling

a. Lessons can be booked by phone, in person, or via WhatsApp message.  

b. Scheduled lesson times and dates are subject to availability.  

c. I reserve the right to reschedule or cancel lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, instructor illness, or vehicle maintenance. I will notify you as soon as possible in such cases. Please note an additional hire fee is payable for use of the car on test days, and this varies depending on time, test centre being used, and day.  

d. Three or more cancellations without good reason in a three-month rolling period could result in the slot being lost and offered to the next person on the waiting list, with any monies for block bookings forfeited.  

e. Simply not having lessons for a three-week period will result in your slot being given to another pupil unless otherwise discussed.  

f. My day starts at 09:00am, no earlier. Consider this when booking your test and remember to include the hour lesson before your test when booking your practical.  

g. If I receive zero contact from you for a period of six weeks, your regular slot will no longer be available.  

Payments and Block Bookings 

a. Payments must be made in advance (before the lesson takes place) for each lesson. Block bookings cannot be paid for in instalments.  

b. I accept cash payments or bank transfer.  

c. No refunds will be given for completed lessons or unused portions of a block booking.  

d. Fees are available upon request for lessons and block bookings. Under normal circumstances, block bookings are non-refundable and all block-booked lessons must be taken on consecutive weeks unless agreed beforehand.

e. Discussions that lead to a refund will be subject to an admin fee, and lessons taken will be charged at the full lesson rate, NOT the discounted rate you paid.  

f. Tests are payable at an additional cost that includes the hire of my car. Test fees should be paid no later than 48 hours before your test date and time.  

g. During long university or school holidays, if you wish to keep your spot open, the equivalent of one lesson should be left with me as a non-refundable deposit. It will then be deducted from your first payment lesson after your return.  

Cancellation Policy

a. You must provide at least two clear working days' notice (this does NOT include Sundays) during my working hours. My official working hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the lesson fee. I cannot accept overnight cancellations. In case I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, I will provide you with as much notice as possible.  

b. Late-cancelled lessons must be paid for, or no further lessons will be offered.  

c. If the lesson starts late because you were late, the lesson cannot be extended. If I am late, the lesson will be the full time paid for.  

d. I will send a text reminder for your first lesson only. I will text when I arrive at your address. After that, I will text after I have been waiting outside your address for 10 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting, I will consider the lesson cancelled and you will be required to pay for the lesson.

Conduct and Personal Hygiene

a. You must arrive at each lesson punctually and in a fit state to drive, free from the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that may impair your ability to drive.  

b. You are expected to behave respectfully towards your instructor and other road users at all times.  

c. You are also expected to come to lessons clean and not covered in dirt/mud/grass, etc.  

d. If at any time I feel your behaviour or attitude while driving is threatening, dangerous, or compromises safety, I reserve the right to cancel the lesson in progress and any future lessons.  

e. All instructors keep good records of who was driving at what time, when, and where. If there are any speeding/enforcement fines issued, the person driving at the time of the offence is legally liable to pay the fine and have the points added to their licence. To say otherwise is fraud.  

Vehicle Use

a. My vehicle is fully insured for instructional purposes, and you are covered while driving during your lessons.  

b. You are not permitted to use my vehicle for personal use or any purpose other than driving lessons and tests.  

c. No friends or relatives may accompany you on your lessons.  

d. Any extra fees incurred as a direct result of something you are responsible for will result in you being charged for them.  

Driving Test

a. It is your responsibility to book and pay for your driving test. I cannot guarantee that you will pass your driving test; however, I will provide you with the necessary training and support to prepare you for the test.  

b. If I am of the opinion that you will not pass your test, my car will not be available for you to use on the day of your test.  

Liability

a. I shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of your actions during lessons or while driving under my instruction.  

b. You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your actions during lessons or while driving under my instruction.  

DRIVING TEST

Your instructor (me) reserves the right to refuse to take you to your driving test if you haven't informed them of the test date and I am therefore unavailable, if you haven't rescheduled your driving test when advised to, or if I believe you are not up to test standard and are therefore unsafe to be driving my tuition car by yourself on test day. I will discuss this with you in plenty of time and go over the options available to you.

**If I feel the safety of myself or others is compromised by physical or verbal aggression from any pupil, I reserve the right to ask you to find your own way home. My safety and the safety of other road users must come first.**

Changes to Terms and Conditions

I reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on this website. Your continued enrolment in No L’s Autos constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.

By enrolling in No L’s Autos, you, by default, agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
